Harrisburg has a mayor–council form of government. Wanda Williams was sworn in for her second term on January 5, 2026.
Harrisburg City Council
Seven members elected at-large. At the January 2026 reorganization, Danielle Hill was chosen council president and Lamont Jones vice president.
